General Petraeus says more troops will leave Iraq
Manila News.Net Friday 9th January, 2009
Speaking to reporters in Washington, top US military commander, David Petraeus, has suggested there will be a further troop reduction in Iraq.
General Petraeus, the head of US Central Command, said more reductions would be on the way soon.
When asked whether he thought all troops would be out of Iraq in 16 months time, in line with a Barack Obama commitment, he said: "There are additional recommendations that we're examining right now. In so many respects this coming year is a year of transition, when our forces will transform into a support, advisory, assistance role."
General Petraeus commanded US troops in Iraq until last October.
He now supervises both the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war, as well as all U.S. military activity in the Middle East and Central Asia.

General Petraeus says more troops will leave Iraq
IT’S means the powerful army is defeated and that’s why they give up. No more money wasted in ilegal war and soldiers not willing to re- deployment.
