DUBLIN, Ireland Truata which officially opened its new headquarters in Dublin on Wednesday, has said it is organising a new annual conference on data protection and analytics, to take place on 20 February, next year, in association with IDA Ireland.
The event will take place in Dublin Castle, with the central theme being Ethical Analytics. It will include panels and lectures from leading industry experts and academics across many sectors, including retail, media, banking, telco, hospitality, automotive, and airlines.
The conference announcement was made at the new 7,700 square foot Truata global headquarters in Sandyford, Dublin. The company is in the process of ramping up recruitment and is aiming to double its workforce with the addition of new data scientists, data privacy experts, data analysts and software engineers.

The official Truata office opening on Wednesday was attended by senior executives from founding partners Mastercard and IBM, Ireland's Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan, Mary Buckley, Executive Director IDA Ireland, as well as industry personnel and academics.
Officiating at the opening event, Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan, said Truatas decision to establish its HQ in Sandyford is another boost for what is already a thriving technology cluster in the local area, and is an endorsement of Dublins reputation as a vibrant technology hub within the EU. Dublin, and Sandyford, continues to attract and retain a talented and well-educated workforce. Irelands strong position on data protection is becoming a key factor in attracting data focused companies.
