MUNTINLUPA CITY, Nov. 8 (PIA)--Mayor Jaime Fresnedi together with other local officials will lead the annual Christmas lighting ceremony at the Muntinlupa City Hall Quadrangle, Friday (Nov. 8) at 5:30 p.m.
"We invite all Muntinlupenos to enjoy the Christmas display we have prepared this year," Fresnedia said.
"As we enjoy and celebrate Christmas, let us not forget the message and true meaning of the Season, which is about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ," Fresnedi said.
The City Government of Muntinlupa is set to open a 'Santa Toy Factory' themed Christmas display with a 45-foot Christmas tree ornamented with huge lollipops made of fiber glass materials and draped with colorful LED lights as the centerpiece of the City's Yuletide attraction.
According to Fresnedi, Muntinlupa City Hall compound will turn into a magical playground with 1,000 stuffed toys, giant nutcrackers and candy canes covering the government facility.
Visitors will have the feel of a Christmas Village once they enter the area with a life-sized Santa Claus and reindeer display.
A life-size Belen was installed in the foyer of the Muntinlupa City Hall.
On top of these, a mini-playground with all things Christmassy awaits kids and kids-at-heart.
People will be treated to a spectacular nights once the over 400,000 colorful LED lights draped at the City Hall compound are lighted.
Susana Heights and Centennial Avenue in Laguerta, will be also decorated with toy factory themed displays and Christmas lights.
