SAN JOSE, Antique Mar 26 (PIA) - The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has already adopted the Special Work Arrangement in compliance to Executive Order No. 36 signed by Governor Rhodora Cadiao.
Following the placing of the whole Province of Antique under an Enhanced Community Quarantine and in line to the pronouncement of President Rodrigo Duterte, the Provincial Office and the Community Offices of DENR here heed to the Order which aims to ensure the safety of every Filipino.
DENR PENRO head Andres T. Untal emphasized the safety of everyone is a priority while delivering services to others.
Among the strategies implemented for Special Work Arrangement are Work-from-Home, Report to Office in Proximity to residence and office location mode and only as part of the skeletal force who will be providing technical support for a digital and virtual office.
The priority of work shall be on processing of payments for salaries and wages of all personnel and other commitments of the office which are due and demandable.
CENR Offices were also directed to prepare their respective implementation plan in line with the Enhanced Quarantine EO which is being implemented province wide.
To support the frontline service in the implementation of EO 36, Untal suggested to make the office as assembly area in producing makeshift face shields, masks and Personal Protective Equipmet (PPEs).
This will be distributed to frontliners and checkpoint areas as part of the PENRO ReAct mobilization support.
First batch of these medical PPEs were already distributed in partnership with Philippine Red Cross Antique Chapter.
