QUEZON CITY March 26 -- With the declaration of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) for the Entire Luzon to contain the spread of COVID-19, several barangays in Quezon City have implemented measures to ensure this.
One of this is Barangay North Fairview where it immediately implemented measures to ensure that there will be no COVID-19 case in the area.
Security guards of the homeowners associations of the North Fairview Subdivision wearing masks, went from house to house to distribute quarantine pass cards to its residents. This is to ensure that social distancing is observed.
The Barangay has authorized only two family members to buy food and medicine for each family. Non-residents of the subdivision are not also allowed to enter the community.
Everyday, security guards of the subdivsion and barangay officials do the rounds of checking the community to ensure that everyone is staying at home and not loitering in compliance with the directive of the national government to stricly implement enhanced community quarantine in the enire Luzon.
The security guards reiterated that persons without quarantine pass who will attempt to leave the subdivision will not be allowed. (TNN/PIA-IDPD).
