CALOOCAN CITY, March 26 (PIA)--The city government of Caloocan in coordination with the Department of Agriculture (DA), the local launched today a mobile market selling mostly agricultural products harvested by farmers from across the country.
Called "JEEPALENGKE sa Caloocan", a fleet of seven (7) units of jeepney goes around North Caloocan Thursday covering the following Barangays: 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175 and 179 to selling vegetables, dried fish and poultry products.
The mobile market will operate 8-11 in the morning and 3 - 6 in the afternoon or until the supplies last. Customers are also requested to observe social distancing and wear face mask and bring their own reusable bag when they buy goods from mobile market.

The city government said this is part of the system they are currently implementing to help their residents cope with the ongoing enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19 crisis.
The LGU also said that they will announce next schedule and venue of the city's JEEPALENGKE through their official social media accounts. (PIA-NCR)
