LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Mar. 31 (PIA) - The Provincial Government of Pangasinan extended the effectivity of the Executive Order (EO) No. 0015-2020 placing the whole province under extreme enhanced community quarantine following the increase of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the province.
Governor Amado Espino III signed today, March 31, 2020, the Executive Order No. 0016-2020 extending the effectivity of the Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine in the entire province of Pangasinan up to the midnight of April 7, 2020 or until further declared.
Espino said the extension is made considering the general welfare of the people.
The extreme enhanced community quarantine is set to expire in the midnight of March 31, 2020.
Based on records of the Department of Health as of March 30, 2020, there are 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pangasinan, five of whom have passed away.
"Returning residents of the province are ordered to stay where they are, and not to return home until the extreme enhanced community quarantine is lifted," he said in the EO.
