Dr. De Leon said the sudden rise of covid cases is expected since swab testing is now made available and accessible by LGU Titay. "Expected to rise because hinde naman natin mapigilan ang pag uwi ng LSIs and at the same time available na ang RT-PCR kits sa Titay thru a MOA between LGU Titay and Zamboanga City Medical Center-Department of Agriculture (ZCMC-DA) laboratory. Tataas (ang kaso) kasi enhanced na ang capability/capacity of testing, early detection and improve health outcomes," he said.
"We continue to test detect and isolate."
Per DOH data, Zamboanga Sibugay now has a total of 11 recorded cases, 2 are in Manila and Cebu City respectively while 9 are active cases here in the province. (NBE/JPA/PIA-Zamboanga Sibugay)
