Pasig Mega Market implements 'No PasigPass QR Code, No Entry' policy

PASIG CITY, Dec. 5 (PIA) -- Beginning today (Dec. 5), the Pasig City Government will be implementing a 'No PasigPass QR Code, No Entry' policy at the Pasig Mega Market.

The PasigPass app allows users to generate a unique a machine-readable code of personal information used for contact tracing purposes.

This replaces the usual pen and paper method of writing down vital information about an individual.

Market goers are also advised that safety and health protocols are being implemented in the mega market, such as wearing of face mask and face shield and observance of social or physical distancing.

For this month of December, the city government also advised that the operations of the Pasig Mega Market are as follows: Mondays, from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 n.n. and from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Regular clean up and disinfection is scheduled every Monday, from 12:00nn onwards. (PASIG CITY/PIA-NCR)
