CAMIGUIN, Jan. 27 (PIA)--As the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) extended the Road Clearing Operation 2.0 to February 15, DILG Camiguin held the Orientation on Road Clearing Validation at Paras Beach Resort, Mambajao, here, January 26.
DILG Camiguin Provincial Director Rhona Pedraza-Abadilla discussed the Guidelines for the Conduct of Validation of LGU Compliance with Road Clearing 2.0, which will commence, February 16 to March 2.
"The Orientation on Road Clearing Validation would be a helpful tool to attain common understanding of issues, concerns pertinent to road clearing validation process," Abadilla said.
Participants of the activity include representatives from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), local government unit road clearing focal persons, municipal local government operation officers, municipal chiefs of police, municipal fire marshals and civil society organization (CSO) representatives.
DILG extended such activity in consideration of the need of LGUs to immediately prepare their local vaccination plans against COVID-19.
The deadline of the submission of all consolidated validation reports from the DILG regional offices will be one week after the end of the validation period or on March 9. (RTP/PIA10)
