Won Ju-eun, Kwon Da-eun , Han Guk-hee , Mina Babouyeh (own goal), Kim Ye-eun , Park Ju-ha, Han Guk-hee and Seo Min-jeong were on target for the Korean team at the Buriram City Stadium.

Iran had lost to Thailand 6-0 in its opening match.

Korea Republic will face Thailand in its final Group A fixture on Saturday, while Iran meet India.

Group B action will see the Philippines take on Bangladesh on Friday with Vietnam facing Australia.
